When I say I haven't gotten a functioning print since like, the middle of June when I changed my filament cause I ran out. I mean it cause this is trying to kill me a week before I become a legal adult like why.

What I've tried:
-re leveling the bed
-drying the filament
-gluing the base for more adhesion
-cleaning the fans
-checking the hot end for problems

I need an adult please

#

The other print i remembered to take a picture of that failed

And i think the x axis is tilted and and check the hotend if its leaking when at 220c

Also the hot end seems fine, only thing is it has a small bit of filament on it that I couldn't get with the big clumps when I had a filament leak, just the stuff you can get with a rag (of which i don't have to basically ruin)

#

Also genuinely thank you for giving me actual issues to fix rather than the vibes I was going off of

And you are welcome 🙂

Ok just to make myself a little checklist and double check i understood the problems

  • re level the bed
  • check the hot end to see if it leaks
  • lower the layer height to .2mm
-print a spacer to fix the z banding issue
#

Also wait is leaking when it comes out of the nozzle on its own or smthn else

#

Nvm im tripping

#

But also the slicer says its layer height is at .2

For all or first layer only

#

The ender 3 often has the issue that the endstop for z is mounted too high. Which leads to less tension on the bed springs giving you a unreliable bed.

#

So you can try moving it down a bit giving you more spring tension

i've spent like, at least half an hour bed leveling and watching the video in the print link and fuck it like, annihilated my resolve it's almost impressive

#

i got my printer not even a month and a half ago pre-owned so i'm super lost and it's fucking me up

nocturne willow
#

so imma deal with this tmmrw

Good luck 🙂 creality printers are only cheap the rest is hard mode

nocturne willow

I see that lol

Many dont believe me and then its too late

I didnt read the entire chat here, but the issue seems like the z-distance is too much, the nozzle is too far from the bed maybe? you didnt state that you tweaked that

Ngl I never touch the extruder setting on it cause it lowkey scares me

steady stag
#

So did any of my tips help or are still poking the printer with a stick incase it bites?

nocturne willow
#

I've done a couple upgrades and most of the stuff you said to fix it

#

Pretty much just the zbanding stuff is left and getting the cr touch working
