usually do the temp thing to see where the filament looks good and if your into it layer bonds good, then calibrate your retraction
I only start lowering the temp if my retraction towers do nothing to improve it, sometimes hafta find that sweet temp and retraction setting
Is it possible that the temperature isnt a problem with my print? I'll do a retraction tower later when i get home
yeah, puck which temp looks the best layer wise in those ends then do a retraction tower
Which should i start with. What are the average numbers for good prints
@latent magnet i would start with these settings. Best Cura Settings for Anycubic Mega X
Nozzle temp: 210°C/410°F (all layers).
Retraction: 5mm
Retraction speed: 50 mm/s
Build plate temp: 60°C/140°F
also just out of curiosity is that anycubic inhause pla filament that was shipped with the printer? or something you bought extra?
I'll do a test print like this aswell thank you. Its not shipped with the printer
The filament
Is your part cooling fan working? it doesn't look like it's firming up quick enough?
Both fans work
I ordered a new filament and i think maybe it was the filament's fault as the new one works almost perfect. The only problem i have now is that some prints somehow have those weird "lifts?" Ill send a video
The nozzle then moves the actual print and the result is inaccurate
Does anyone know why
Could be your bed isn't level or the z offset is too low. Flow rate could be causing blobs to appear and making the nozzle knock your print. Actually dealt with that recently myself.
You still need to dial in your retractions if you haven't done so yet.
