#extruder gear keeps slipping

Hello Guys! i ran into a problem a few weeks ago i cant seem to solve the extruder gear slips everytime the printer is printing EXCEPT for the first Layer does anyone know what the problem might be? im running out of ideas! BTW im using klipper

Your retraction speed might be too high. If it's too high it can cause the filament to slip.

It could also be a build up of plastic particles in the gear teeth and you might need to disassemble the extruder and clean it out with a wire brush.
