You only need a new tempsensor
Does it matter if the thermistor is from cr10 smart pro or any other printers?
Dont think so
OK tnx
now i have a problem that i cant get the new thermistor, i bougt two of them but both of them were for difrent hotends
im looking for the right code/name of cr10 smart thermistor but cant find any info about that
You should be able to correct it via pid tune maybe. I dont know the cr smart firmware that sell because the printer did not sell so good.
A ok
Yeah sorry :/ im not sure what was bigger mess the ender 7 or cr smart...
OK good to know
But are there any datasheets for termistor or heating blocks that would mention what kind of termistor it is, anything at all?
And tnx for the help
Hmm maybe in the manual? I think the smart uses a uncommon creality hotend ... @vernal wing do you have an idea?
I looked at the original manual of printer and it's hottend but it was user manual and it didn't specify what kind of components are used in hotend
Hm normaly they use a ntc 100k sensor it might look different but should work
Ok thank you very much will inform you if it works
Its an oddball one used only on a few machines, its a typical thermistor type though
Ender 7 was actually pretty decent once the undersized power supply was replaced and good with the tinymachines belted dual z kit
performance of that machine really took a hit with the undersized power supply...
ironic you mention the E7 though, same hotend assembly
@vernal wing i cant keep up with all version and undocumented changes ^_^ but i remember the e7 as a printer where you cant check the first layer and as fake core xy
It was hard to see but the XY motion was pretty robust. I do recall joel telling cutting the front off one though
i installed the thermistor and it is partly working, like on start up it works fine, i put the tem to 150 and leave it there for 2-3 h it works fine, then i adjust the tem to 180 its stops working, i turn of the printer and try again but now i put it immediately on tem 230 it climes up to 220 and stops working
any easy solution to that?
