Terrible surface quality for PETG. Note: Door was left open and top cover was left off. Settings are included in the picture.
265 c is outright cooking the petg
@fallow cobalt
Just tried 240, same problem
Dried it at 70 C for 6 hours
This is at 240C
As you can see, super bad
the spots where it got ripped of are usally dirt places but the rest hmm have you tried the flowrate test?
and @modern topaz you are the qidi expert
Do you have a black or golden build plate btw? You can get a replacement for the black one because it has that weird cutput that goes into the build area
flowrate test?
In the slicer there should ne an option calibration
Because over extrusion also creates bad print results ๐
Weird its greyed out
You are in filament settings i guess not in your slicing window
Also empty build plate is needed
Thanks , I'll try this
Black one
Do I get the replacement for free?
Yes because its cutout reduced the already wrong build area
OK
They still didnt send me the fan covet ig i shouldve replied to their final support message lul

You were right. So basically these little plates that are now on the build plate are the different flow settings and I pick the correct one that looks the best?
@fervent gate Should I do course or fine?
Nozzle is 0.4mm and layerheight is standard 0.2mm
You start with course and thrn go to fine when you have a course value
Alright something is seriously wrong
1.06
And I updated the printer firmware as well
Its maybe 1 version behind but otherwise up to date.
Also would like to mention
It doesn't do this on ABS or other PETGs. I just wanted to get this brand of PETG tuned because I like their colors @fervent gate
Hmm let me check. Maybe I'm just referring to the slicer ver
Im afraid except firmware i have no idea. Flu is currently slowing my brain.
Damn hope you feel better
Never heard of them ๐ฎ
I've used their ABS and its been pretty good. Mainly because of the colors
Have you tried printing slower? Like really slow 60 or 80 mm/s
I tried 50% speed and it was only like 10-15% better quality
so yeah big problem somewhere along the lines
50% is still 150mm/s
true but frankly if it can't atleast print at 50% speed I consider that a huge failure because these are pretty big prints that I'll be needing
