what are your retraction values
do you mean on cura?
if thats the slicer you are using
okay and whats your layerheight?
0.2mm
hmm and you are printing with pla?
you can try increasing the retraction speed to 35 mm/s
also check if your printer is retracting. there is an issue where sometimes the firmware is broken out of the box and the printer refuses to retract
is it retracting if you print?
like you mean after every layer?
during printing not afer every layer. there can be more then 1 retraction
i dont really pay attention
if you send me something to print i can record it
or if it doesnt matter what i print i can just print something small thats already on the sd
mm
that should be the fastest way
i already have a file like that
but its a cone
instead of 2 cylindars
but i will use this cuz it has the new settings
1 min let me put them on
i have roughly 30 mins left then i fall asleep 😄
no lets stay here you can take images and send them via phone 🙂
also somebody else can chime in here
yes but its open for every one here 🙂
i see one issue already
you have no clip on the pushfit on your hotend side
you also need one there
because the bowden tube can still move a little up and down there
( a thin ziptie also works)
i dont understand
ohh
but can it really make that much of a difference?
because ive changed the entire hot end
thats y its not there anymore
cuz it wasnt working properly
it make retraction unrealiabe and can also create a gap between nozzle and tube in side the heatblock and then you also get issues like you are describing
how do i know when the belt is too loose or too tight?
mostly if you get ghosting or your printer starts shifting layers in one direction
but it ghosts in both directions😂
look like you get tree branches. these have 2 causes either too less or too much retraction. i suggest you try 5 mm retractiondistance 🙂
id say so
that would be a ziptie
yes
i will do it after this print finishes?
or shall i stop it?
you can stop it and this is what can happen if the bowden tube slips
ohh ok
that makes sense
ok its about to start
still making the distance 35 yh?
5 mm not 35
thats correct
i mean the otherway round sory
it happens but i have to point it out to avoid catastropy
ye i understand

Looks bettee though
You can try up to 6mm retraction distance and experiment with speeds
I go to bed now. I need my beauty sleep
sorry bro idk y it dont ping me
so i need to manually chack if u respended
responded*
what should i change the distance to now?
