#bed first layer issue
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
maybe or because creality is stupid your abl is off in the startscript of your gcode so its not working
Bed ismt leveled properly.
Level the bed and then and then correct the z offset
I Set my off set but it may be to low since it’s PETG and PETG isn’t meant to be squished
Well my abl is fucked it tries to make the x axis go further then is supposed to and makes a horrible noise
Just abl when it tries to go all the way to the right
And it only happens on the middle right too

The x is where it bugs out
It still manages to level and get that point but it doesn’t like it too much and my ender 3 has 235x235 but I made it 220x220 as the build area
I have an original ender 3 with upgraded direct sprite extruder, CR touch, dual z axis lead screws, 2.4.7 silent board, with the of course removed z axis switch since I used the touch, new sprints and screws, and a glass bed
@zealous yew
belts are tensiond and you added the correct probe offsets?
Yes head moves smoothly considering it’s so light now and yes that was actually a original issue that I had to resolve by making my own firmware
Do you probe very fast?
It’s whatever the default is but I can try slowing it
thats a thing i think mostly fast or super fast is the default so yeah try that
Will tonight then give feedback ty
Nope
I fixed the ABL issue and it levels perfect now but it’s underextruding or something
no that seems nozzle too far
What was the abl fix
Bed size was 220x220 with the old gantry for the old hotend but when I upgraded the gantry with the new direct extruder the gantry was bigger and also collided with my upgraded dual z axis upgrade so I had to make the x axis 210 since 220 was no longer possible
Nope forgot to calibrate e step
When I made my own firmware
Since the e step was for the old hotend and extruder but I removed all of that for the direct drive sprite extruder
