Hi, I need some help please.

I'm printing a Boba Fett helmet and today I came back to a loud noise from the printer. For some reason the auto leveler was sticking out and scraping against the print and now it is bent.

Any ideas of what I should do? And what happened? So I know what not to do next time.

I also now tried auto homing it and there was an error. Any ideas please?

Sometimes the probes can deploy because of vibrations, I experienced that by myself.

I recommend:

  1. Try to home x and y seperartly to localize the problem more precise and see If the Error occours for all axis or just one like z only. It May correspond to your touch-probe when its also uses as Z-Endstop.

  2. Check the wires and connections from your toolhead and endstops, May the collision/s lose some Connections.

  3. You need a new tip, you should get spare parts from the manufacture.

  4. Check your belttension and may thighten or losen them.
