So @fluid locust the printer you have saves all its settings usally on the sd card you also put stuff you want to print on.

#

That includes the data for how the temperature is controled

#

So if you removed the sd card or formated it there is a chance your printer runs on its settings stored on the board or default values creating your issue

fluid locust
#

or what it might be called

frosty fern
#

it only applies if you formated the sd card thats why i asked.

fluid locust
#

looks like it was on quick format

fluid locust

no

#

but i think you have the thing for it already build into your printer

#

pid tune

#

it should be somewhere in your printers menue calibration or so

fluid locust
#

if its in my 3d printer already then what would be the reason my 3d printer is cooling down?

frosty fern
#

or just creality firmware

#

but i think under control or temperature you have the setting to run a pid tune

fluid locust
#

okay thank so much ill try it out

frosty fern
#

you can also check if the silicone sock is still where it should be

#

that black rubbery thing around your hotend
