My filament is not wanting to be loaded

copper hemlock
#

Do you get past the extruder?

abstract pike
copper hemlock
#

Take a picture

#

From the extruder and your filaments end

abstract pike
#

When I loaded it, the Bowden tube moved and then stopped after a second or 2

copper hemlock
#

Hm remove the filame t cut the tip at an angle and load manualy

abstract pike
#

I can't even push through

#

I can't tell if I am weak or I don't know how to do it but I can't

copper hemlock
#

Unscrew that pushfit then

#

Crealiy often has a gap inside of the hole that gets filled with stuff blocking or damaing the tune

#

Tube

abstract pike
#

I think something is wrong with my extruder assembly

copper hemlock
#

Do what the doctor says no thinkies . Thinkies bad

abstract pike
copper hemlock
#

You see where the tube goes into your extruder right?

abstract pike
#

Yes

copper hemlock
#

Normaly you would expect the threads etc fit the tube and pushfit perfectly so it creates a nice path for the filament

#

Creality says no

#

So there is often something stuck or bend

abstract pike
#

I can tell 😂

#

So that white but?

copper hemlock
#

the metal thing with the white thing yes

#

its usally something like that

#

so it can be unscrewd

rigid current
#

99% of the time I’ve seen Bowden installs on creality machines there’s a gap between the end of the tube and the hotend

#

The same thing happened to me when I “upgraded” my Ender 3

copper hemlock
#

its creality soo yeah

abstract pike
#

It's turning the Bowden pipe with it

copper hemlock
#

doenst matter

abstract pike
#

I got it off now what

#

There's a block

#

How tf do I get that out

copper hemlock
#

place the hole thing on the heat bed and heat up

#

then you shove the blog further down till its in the tube ... then you heat up again and then role the tube like dough

#

after that you can hopefully push it down all the way out into the hotend

#

or you cut the tube

abstract pike
#

I've only got it off at one end so I'm just going to cut it

copper hemlock
#

good luck dont cut too much

#

you have a capricorn tube soo too much bending can also cause issues

abstract pike
#

How do I prevent this by the way

copper hemlock
#

i was only able to fix it by removing the tube. i bet there are other fixes but i dont know them

#

replaced it with a cheapo generic one

abstract pike
#

I've only had this for 2 days I hope I don't have to experience this a lot

copper hemlock
#

hopefully

abstract pike
#

Is that cause of bad filiment

#

Filament*

copper hemlock
#

no its mostly due the tight diameter of the capricorn tube beeing thigher then the backend of the nozzle

#

creating a blob

#

and if you heat up and pull the flilament out you get that thight fitting blob in your tube and its stuck

abstract pike
#

Is there a certain arrangement that I can have to prevent this

autumn elbow
#

could go DD

abstract pike
#

I was thinking of the same

#

Is there any other benefits to that but

copper hemlock
#

direct drive with a capricorn tube still has the same issue

#

for me the only way to solve it was returing to the old generic cheapo tube or installing a 30buck brozzle nozzle witch i dont know if it would have worked

autumn elbow
#

oh no you'd give up the capricorn all together with the right DD setup

autumn elbow
#

it's not a cheap investment to go DD

abstract pike
#

Expensive?

copper hemlock
#

need adivse

abstract pike
#

I need to find a way to prevent that

#

so more gradual turns are better?

abstract pike
#

for to prevent this

#

how is it caused

copper hemlock
#

i told you already

abstract pike
#

oh

abstract pike
#

so only returning to old tube

#

there is a old tube?

autumn elbow
#

should be a white ptfe tube

copper hemlock
#

it can be anycolour as long as the inter diameter is not as tight

abstract pike
#

well thanks for the help especially chemical your a legend I would not know where to start

#

hope it doesn't happen again
