I dont think there are some that are cheap enough to not just buy a new printer. But if you cant unclogg it are you sure the clog is in the nozzle and not somehwere in the heatsink /break?
I hadn’t thought about that, but I don’t think that i would have the skills needed to fix it
hmm to behonest its very easy
you remove the plastic housing of your print head ( that takes of the heatsink fan) then you heat up wait 10 mins and try to push the filament thorugh ( dont burn yourselft)
You can also try:
- cleaning with needles. Simply insert it after heating up the nozzle.
- cold pull. Simply search in Google or YouTube how to do this.
I looked it up and I think that maybe the part where the pla is inserted might be the problem, could anyone confirm this? Because as I try to pull it out it doesn’t budge, I tried to do it while it was on as well
Like the pla just simply won’t move
The end of your PLA might have fattened. You may unscrew this part so you can pull the filament further or cut the enlarged part
Okay! I’ll give that a try
Is this part supposed to be easy to remove? Because I’m having some difficulties trying to get it off
Can you take a clearer photo? Whats your printer and its model?
It’s an Ender 3 neo
I have ender 3 pro. Lemme google how to remove yours for a moment
Okay, thanks
I couldn't find a straight answer. But by the looks of it you can remove the blue clipping and then push back the black fitting while you pull our the PTFE tube
You can try that or to be more safe, let's wait for someone who knows ender 3 neo...
I think I’m going to continue to look for someone else who can do it as the ptfe tube doesn’t seem to budge
Mmkay
Sorry I couldn't help.
Goodluck
looks like you either have a gap in the hotend due an incorrectly seated tube and got a blob that way or you turned your printer off hot and melted a little more
what you can do is use a heatgun or a hair dryer to heat up the tube and then try roling the filament thin like playdooh
Hi so I have done that and I’ve finally got the stuck pla out so thanks for your help but just a quick question, is it normal for the pla to have all of these crimped edges?
There’s also this sor of indent on the tube, should the tube be replaced?
yes because your extruder gear has teeth that dig into the material
