#Not sticking to bed

I tried the same print twice, once with the default temps shown here and the second one where I raised the temp of the bed
Did you do the paper trick to get the distance from the nozzle correct?
Is your bed level?
I just used the auto leveling system
I did not do either of those
For adjusting your Z-Offset
Home your Z axis
Move your Z axis in small steps down with a paper underneath till it slightly holds down the paper
This should be a NEGATIVE value
Enter that negative value into the Z-Offset
For adding G29 to your start gcode google where you can find it in your slicer and add it right after G28
So I have to add the code to the file I’m printing?
So you’re saying the auto leveling tool on my printer does not work properly?
Im saying you never used it
You need the G29 command in all your gcode files you want to print.
Ok thanks. I’ll try both of these and see if that fixes the problem
If it doesnt work after all that hit that bed with the good old gluestick
No
You realy shouldnt need glue stick
Its just compensation for bad setup
Incase g29 alone is not working try adding M420 S1 below
it’s still acting weird
what are you trying to print
Can you send a pic from the side? Can you fit a piece of paper under it while its printing
Might need to make the Z-Offset a bit more into the negatives
Maybe babystep the Z while printing till it sticks
(its under "tune" in the menu while its printing)
I saw it in here yesterday. I'm just doing a small test print
what is your bed made of
Looks like the stock sheet
You think its the magnetic one
When I was leveling the Z axis I made sure the nozzle was pinching the paper but not too much so it could move
Im saying while printing
Id still try live adjusting the Z and seeing if that works
Just make sure to not get too close as then you will scratch the bed
I'll be working more on this tomorrow. I think I'm gonna try and self adjust everything
what printer do you have again?
I believe it’s the Ender 3
the problem is there are 5 or 7 verisons
Ender 3 s1 pro
That’s what I got
Ah good
