#pausing and power off

If you're in the middle of a print you can't just stop it
Yeah, gonna just work with smaller more manageable parts for bigger prints and glue them
You have a release when cold build plate too so if it gets cold it will just pop off
You cannot turn it off
For pause it needs to keep the bed and nozzle hot
Some printers can right?
Yes but the bed needs to stay hot
and most turn off after sometime anyway
If you're gonna print something big just let it print.
You could pause it but I would not guarantee good looking prints
Yeah I've decided no pause
Ok

It’s not optimal to screw with M413 function on purpose
The only thing it does is save the position your nozzle is at and the progress of the print. It doesn’t keep the bed heated which will cause it to pop off like others have said. Vent mentioned they have a Ender 3, if it is stock then it does not automatically power off after some time and it can be kept paused for a long while. Just make sure you keep only the bed heated while you’re leaving it for a while
I’ve had to pause my print for a few hours (different scenarios since they’re asking if they can do days) and it was fine
