Xyz cube not so accurate have problems with flow rate
Walls get wonky like 2 separate walls
i understand that.. but have you calibrated anything on the printer till now?
just saying the the 20mm cube is wonky. doesnt help.
Well I did printed fine for a bit did a firmware update and it wiped it
self compiled or from official site?
Everything was tuned in wondering if there’s an easier way took me like 3 days to calibrate
Alex firmware for Aquila
if you didnt save your settings. the firmware overwrote them.
did you take notes while calibrating?
^that is probably the fasted way to calibrate your printer.. use the settings you noted down. if you didnt.. https://teachingtechyt.github.io/calibration.html <-- start from the beginning.
some settings like retraction and heat tower.. are in the slicer..
but e-steps & linear advance <- if you calibrated that are firmware settings.
PID firmware settings
flow is slicer.
did the PID with fan work?
just out of curiosity since this is your second thread.
It was a slicer error I fixed it though
good to know.. what exactly was the issue.
🤷♂️ just changed the temperature by 5°and it works fine
ehh. what..
interesting solution to wonky PID:
so i can close the previous thread?
Yup
🤷♂️ it worked out
yeah, each printer has its own little quirks. if it worked for you. it might work for another person.
Also I noticed my nozzle is crooked
Should I upgrade heat block to something else or just use a new one
up to you. but if its working i would leave it alone till it breaks again.
Also my prints would print fine but one spot would never stick on my pei sheet I clean it but nothing do a couple bltouch meshes nothing
how did you clean it?
99% iso
can you take it off?
And a microfiber cloth
the pei sheet i mean.
Yup
do a clean scrub.. warm water and soap..
👍
then before the print.. rub down with iso..
Okay
I’ll do that tomorrow morning when I get to the shop
Wdym
you setup you z-offset..
Yup sometimes while printing
then print something like leveling squares.. really slowly.
while printing you adjust the knobs for the perfect height.
its one of the reasons its good to do a skirt on prints.. you have time to adjust knobs in case..
the other thing just might be your springs underneath the bed..
Upgraded them
heat expansion might mess them up a bit.
too what?
Higher tension ones I found on Amazon
have a link?
under your orders there isnt a link?
I didn’t order them my boss orders them on his account free shipping cause prime
lol. sounds good.
