Do you mean the first layer? Because bottom are a few layers depending on how many you set, and top is only the last few top layers not every layer besides first.

#

"Initial layer flow" is a setting you can use to change the first layers flow rate

Yep, but i want to change the top layer flow rate to like 95% but keeping the initial layer at 100%

There might be other solutions to your problem you dont realise yet :)

I feel like i sometimes get a bit of overextrusion on the top layers, not much but i would like it to be smoother

#

Imma send a pic

#

Inside of the 2 for example

#

Esteps should be calibrated, il gonna check tho

#

Esteps are 1mm short on a 100mm extrusion, so thats not the issue

#

@limpid sable sorry for the pings, hope you dont mind

Have you tried ironing? Adds the time of one layer. Fills gaps with less extrusion while pushing it basically into the already existing last layer

#

We had one post a top layer that was ironed a few days ago and it looked like it was the underside of the print on a glass bed

Ye i tried a long time ago and wasnt a fan of it but might try again

#

I used to get super smooth top layers without ironing so i was thinking that there's an other way

#

Also while im at it, do you know how to get rider of those bulgy corners ?

#

I tried calibrating pressure advance but nothing really changed, im pretty sure i followed the tutorial correctly but im open to any suggestion

This could be better or worse if you change acceleration and deceleration.

The buldge on the bottom right comes from the beginning of the new layer. You could set the start point to inside the print but then you will have a visible seam

Its a tradeoff really
