I want to start printing nylon as I've just upgraded my printer, but I've realized that I have no good ventilation and filtration solution to deal with the particles and fumes. Can I just throw an air filter into my enclosure? Or should I have a vent system that just sucks the air outside?

You sure can just filter it but that's not the greatest idea
So i'd recommend just venting it outside for the start

You always want to push more air out than in btw.
The opposite of a pc enclosure. If you push more out, air will go inside from small holes as it wont be airtight. So you can confrol where it leaves
That way the particles will always pass the filter.

Well it has a outlet at the top as far as i see on the pic.
Get one of the weed tent filter systems with coal filter and you should be good.
But idk about the temperature and if this will make it too cold in there or not or too "windy" thats something you have to test on your own
