Apologies in advance if this is not the correct place to post this, but I am unsure what to do next. I bought my MSI Trio 5090 oc in May from best buy and have been using it on and off for the last few months. Today I noticed my pc was crashing after high GPU usage, so I spent a few hours trying to troubleshoot the problem. I came across a reddit thread of someone suggesting to reseed the GPU, so thats what I began to do. Only to find out that the power cable connecting to my 5090 looks charred. I just bought the card a few months ago, and I always try and keep good care of my electronics. I even have my PC connected to an UPS and a surge protector. Is there some way I can fix it, or is there some other way I can get it better? Any advice would be wonderful. Thank you!

I’m pretty careful when building it and made sure to push it in all the way so that no yellow was showing. It’s really unfortunate that it is common, especially since it’s so expensive. Do you think I have a good chance of getting it replaced as a warranty case? Or will I have to pay for it to be fixed.
