#Stuck on Logo Loading Screen when Starting Up

When you try to open it, it sticks there. Does your motherboard have a LCD display showing boot codes or anything showing boot status lights? (check your motherboards manual.)
There is a red light popping and it disappears right after the logo was shown.
Can you go into the BIOS check settings? if not I would reset the bios and try again.
yea i can
nvm looked it up and it was the VGA light that was popping
update: i tried the switch on/off power button while its showing the red light. i tried switching the ram sticks. i tried to remove the cmos battery and put it back in 5 mins. restored default / optimized defaults in BIOS. reseating the gpu
result: nothing worked 😭
Can you check to see if your boot drive is still detected in BIOS? You may also check to see what the boot order is showing and share an image of that here.
It is possbile the windows installation is corrupted and you would need to reinstall windows.
Also... check your video cable from the video card to the monitor. If it looks janky due to some event then I'd replace it. I've had a new build simply not boot because of a faulty cable.
nah its not janky
Good news is the drive is still detected.
Still might be a corrupted windows installation.
How old is the drive that you are using?
like 3-4 years old
Is that WD drive a spinning disk drive?
The last time I saw this issue was on my buddy's build. It would take FOREVER after turning the system on from a shutdown, but it would eventually turn on. The issue immediately resolved itself when he did a fresh install on a new SSD. His system was older than 3-4 years though.
I've gotten weird hangs before due to USB devices on my x870e. Disconnect all USB other than your Keyboard and mouse and try again. Then add devices and reboot until you find your hang
IF kb and mouse works.
it still wont get past the logo after i disconnected everything, i also tried with kb and mouse but still nothing
hate to say it... but if you're comfortable doing it I would pull the CPU and make sure you don't have any bent pins or anyhting of that sort. I feel like you might have a short at this point and the CPU seating is the most likely culprit.
Unless you have standoffs in odd places in your case touching the back of your mobo traces where they shouldn't be.
Sounds like you've probably done the single stick of ram test as well in various slots to see if any are different.
(or re do your OS but the fact it's not even loading up to the recovery window in MS windows means it might be rather well hosed. SSD/NVME's also have finite write amounts to the disk.
i think im not going to do a hardware fix 😅 ive been getting zapped whenever i touch the case
nah i dont
WTF... that might be a bigger issue lol. Like static pops when you touch the case? Are you sliding around hardwood floors in wool socks or something? yeesh.
lol nahhh
but yeah the zaps happen whenever i touch the glass case screws and other parts of it
I'd take it to a shop to check it out.
With the static discharge issue you have at home I definitly wouldn't mess around inside the system.
Not without being grounded.
yeaa i guess so... i've done a lot trying to troubleshoot it with you guy's tips but i think its a lot bigger issue
anyways thanks for helping on this thread and ill try to take it to a shop
update: it booted, turns out the ssd was the culprit.
How did it boot if the SSD was the issue?
Maybe explain further in case this post is seen by someone else having the same issue.
so um the hdd got removed then ion know what the hell magic the technician did here
but hey it works now
I see, so you do not know how it got fixed, but it is fixed now.
It working is the goal, so enjoy.
