MSI Afterburner will not open unless reinstalled.

Has anyone had this issue before?? I am trying to run undervolting tests on my 5090 but afterburner will only let me change settings one time, apply, and then never run again. I have to completely uninstall/reinstall to get it to open again, losing my settings in the process.
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

AFAIK afterburner doesn't support new 50 series well

since development for it stopped somewhere during the russo-ukrainian war

the guy who worked on it is from Russia i believe?

anyway, funding and trade embargo stuff halted its development

I am able to undervolt and apply settings but can not open afterburner again so I can’t really find an optimal curve 😅

I ran into this issue as well in my 5080 had to switch to GPU Tweak iii since afterburner is no longer supported

And yea I heard some people tried GPU Tweak III as well, haven't tried it myself though

I'm on 40 series and afterburner still works for me so I have yet to try anything else atm
