My guess is that the real launch for the 5090 will be in March. People will still have to battle through March and then it will become easier and easier in April/May. Keep in mind this is still VERY expensive for most people and I think the Whales will dry up sooner than people think. 5090 fans are a small minority but very vocal

To give some perspective via Steam survey....After the 4090 has been out all this time they still do not even make up 1% of the userbase. Last I saw it was like .9%

And they are set to launch early march.

I would never scalp 5090 on Ebay even if I wanted to, Ebay allows charge backs. And if you paid with a credit card, nothing really stopping buyers from claiming fraud on the transaction just to screw with you. Normal items its fine, but if you are scalping GPU you will be targeted with a lot of hate.
