some details like what actual machine/setup you're on would help, mostly because Afterburner can't be used on laptops to do anything like overclocking for a start

which looks like what you're trying to do since it generally returns nil values when you use it on laptops

it'll do a few things depending on what laptop it is, but most of it only works on actual desktop boards/hardware

have a look in the MSI center, again dependant on model it may have some options like extreme performance ( factory defined OC of specific parts ) and Cooler Boost ( basically fans/cooling maxed out to support it )
