A 3060 mobile GPU won't be hitting anywhere near 144 fps even at 1080p in most games unless you're running them on the lowest settings. So it really depends on what games you actually plan on playing and what settings. https://www.techspot.com/review/2193-geforce-rtx-3060-laptop/
You'd probably be okay with just 100hz but most 1080p 144hz+ monitors are cheap anyway.
You have plenty of choices, Just choose one that is within your budget

Choose A Monitor
So if I connect a monitor to my laptop the monitor can run 240hz?? or 144 hz right ?
Your limiting factor is the GPU. You can get a 240hz monitor but you can't run games at that high of a refresh rate so there would be no point. So getting a 240hz vs 144hz would yield you no perceivable difference. You'd just be wasting money. A 3060 mobile isn't a strong GPU. So you get a monitor that is suited for the GPU. Not the other way around.
Alr thanks so I’ll get like 144hz monitor
Usually if you want more than 144hz or fps it's for FPS ESPORTS titles and etc like cs go, valorant and etc
And for those type of games you can get much more than 144 even on weaker gpus
1060 6gb can do cs 2 100-120fps from personal experience
Would this monitor work on my laptop
it’s cheap and it’s 180hz
@unreal hound
Yup that would work.
