hey! Im just coming to ask because this issue is becoming increasingly annoying. For starters, My gaming laptop is the MSI GF65 thin with an rtx 3060 and an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10500H CPU, windows 11. I have had it for about 2.5 years. Anyway, whenever I shut it down via Windows Key > Power Button > Shutdown it just doesnt shut down and boots back to the login screen that shows the time. not to mention when it does shot off (via the provided power button on the laptop) it turns on randomly throught the night/whenever I turn it off, but when it does this it doesnt have a display and eventually shuts down minutes later. I would really appreciate some help!

Hey. Have you tried disabling Fast Startup? It is a dumb feature that will keep your PC is a sort of "on" state that will make it easier to boot back up. There might be something on your device, like your wireless antenna, that will ping your device and wake it up.

Actually, I found a fix last night! basically I just held shift down while pressing shut down!
