additionally i was suppose to get a rtx 4060 as my gpu but again it is running on the intel uhb graphics
i might just be a bit dumb sorry im not too sure when it comes to laptops or pcs
Ah yes, the crappy msi costco laptop special
- Ensure that your drivers, especially your graphics drivers are up-to-date by downloading the latest drivers from NVIDIA and Intel for the UHD graphics.
- Your GPU usage should be 0% if there's barely anything running.
- Check your Task Manager to see your processes, ensure both the GPUs are there.
- Ensure your system in Balanced Mode because having it in high-performance or quiet/super battery may worsen reliability. Ensure it's balance under User Scenario in MSI Center and in Window's settings.
- You might want to consider a full OS reinstall, get rid of any junky bloatware then install MSI Center, Nahimic and other goodies, drivers you need back again
On my GE76 laptop on factory OS, I have experienced some BSODs where the laptop would freeze, audio would freeze too, and end up in a blue screen. Normally, it recovers just fine and it won't happen again for another two weeks.
hi hi, thank you for a reply!!
- not fully sure how to do that ðŸ˜
- usually stays at 0 in the centre even when im playing, although task manager says its running
- yeah just found out the rtx one is no where to be seen LOL, kinda sad
- done that, thank you
- unsure how to do that as well 💔
i think the freeze was just due to an external app i used for valorant (overwolf) but yeah the rtx isnt there
Make sure you're on MSHybrid Graphics Mode in User Scenario
You may be only using the UHD (integrated) graphics if you have accidently selected that
ah alright, ill try that!! thank you
seems to be working now, thank you sm!!
haha no problem
