#rgb fan lights are glitching (flash warning)

Its controlled by a board on the back of my pc, there is a button on the top of my case the cycles through the preset modes when pressed
I can assume it was working just fine for a while?
What about my other question about updates to the hardware or software before hand?
Can you follow the cable that goes from the RGB hub in the back to the motherboard and unplug and reconnect it?
Ive done that and it does nothing, ive tried MSI mystic light, corsair ICUE and non let me control them
It was working fine
Might be the fact that you have two conflicting pieces of software that control RGB running at the same time.
I would close all of those in Task Manager and see if the issue resolves itself.
I uninstalled corsair icue, it didnt do anything, the lights dont show up on msi mystic light either
Were the lights working before you installed mystic lights?
Yeah
Basically RGB software of any kind can be unreliable.
Try uninstalling all of it to start. I am assuming the fans might be Corsair, but the hub is generic and came with the case?
That could be why iCUE didn’t detect the fans.
They are MSI fans
My advice still stands, uninstall, or at least close all RGB controlling software in Task Manager and see if you can control the RGB with the motherboard again.
When you first turn on the system, do the fans look the correct color and then it starts acting weird when you are in windows?
I unplugged the rgb board and plugged it in after turning the pc on
It fixed it for now
