Go to settings

What happens when you click power button

#

It's supposed to be right there

#

You might need a firmware update

#

MSI site is being laggy I'll check later

Yea from all the online forums and comments, RGB control should be on your osd menu

#

Maybe a reset might work but not 100 percent sure

#

And you lose your video settings

past holly
#

okay, i am going to reset

#

reboot the system just in case

#

now i can't modify the game mode

#

hahah

azure stone
#

Eco mode off

past holly
#

oh thanks

#

but

azure stone
#

Is rgb control there?

past holly
#

no :(

#

i have been cheated haha

azure stone
#

Wow I have no clue, maybe MSI support can help

#

Also don't forget to enable g sync on your monitor because you reset it

Is there non-RGB version?

azure stone
#

The only thing I can think of is the monitor is non addressable rgb

#

It's just set to a certain RGB profile

rotund star
#

yeah idk

azure stone
#

That you can't change through osd or an app

rotund star
#

Actually @past holly Have you tried MSI Mystic Light?

past holly
#

in the image have leds

#

or is it a lie?

rotund star
#

Maybe Mystic Light can control the monitor's RGB?

azure stone
#

I see them

past holly
#

no?

rotund star
#

yeah see them too so we are looking at the right monitor

past holly
#

buut

#

mystic light is an app?¿

#

look this

#

msi center??

rotund star
#

What does Windows Display settings show?

azure stone
#

I don't see the monitor on the supported list

#

But maybe worth a try

rotund star
#

Does it see your monitor model?

past holly
#

mag gaming series

#

it is?

past holly
rotund star
#

Settings > System > Display > Advanced display

past holly
#

this?

rotund star
#

yes

azure stone
#

thats a different monitor

#

you said it was rv

#

actually its giving the same info on the manual

past holly
#

oh, im so sorry

azure stone
#

same exact spot

past holly
#

but

#

on the page where i bought it in the photo it has leds, is it a problem with the page?

azure stone
#

As i said it should give you the option to change rgb

rotund star
#

no worries

azure stone
#

but its not showing up, you probably have to mess around with it

past holly
azure stone

MSI support is your best bet

rotund star
#

i don't know. Have you tried the updates found on the monitor's support page?

past holly
#

yes, i install the driver

#

mmm

rotund star
#

yeah but still that wouldn't explain the missing RGB on OSD.

past holly
#

yeah, i don't know :/

#

maybe

#

is with display port?

rotund star
#

yeah try MSI support. Get your serial numbers model name and such for them

azure stone
past holly
#

okay, thank you very much to both of you

past holly
azure stone
#

I dont think this will change anything but display port is a better connection

rotund star
#

The only utility that I see on your monitor's support /downloads page is the Display Kit.

rotund star
#

I don't see Gaming Intelligence so I guess your monitor isn't supported.

past holly
#

so weird, if the image has leds on the msi page

#

i will ask support msi

rotund star
#

Sorry we couldn't be more helpful.

#

Let us know what MSI support says. 😉
