120/144hz with HDMI 1.4b on ps5?

Hello , I bought the G2412DE | 24 zoll 170hz FHD IPS Panel FreeSync Premium | MSI eSport Gaming Monitor
And I’m on ps5
the problem is, it has only HDMI 1.4b
so can I use 1080p 120hz for 120fps games and even more Hz (for example r6 with 140fps) on ps5 games or only 60hz

pretty sure the ps5 is capped to 120hz

120 fps support is not on all games, it will vary from game to game.

follow this guide and set your game presets to performance mode

this will allow any game that supports 120 fps to automatically enable 120fps with no changes in options

as for rs6, you can change the graphics mode to prioritize performance to enable 120 fps support

it cant go more than 120 fps

On the ps5 version it has 138-140 fps

Yes you should, the monitor is advertised as having console mode

I looked it up and other monitor are advertising with „console modus“ is it still 120 hz 1920x1080 ?

because they don’t adverdise the modus with that monitor
