#CPU Fan problem

i just need open this program like this
y i need buy new cpu fan my laptop start fire and full lag when i open this program, thank you for help and answer, have a good day.
my pc turn off after 10min, i check my gpu temp is 73-74C and cpu temp always 94C
I don't understand when the processor fan was working it was always 94C now when the processor fan is not working it is also 94c.
and gpu temp was 60+ and now 73-74C and does not rise more.
your cpu will run as fast as possible while staying under 95C so when the fan is running slower the cpu will still run at 95C just slower
and can i play weak games now? is it better not to use the laptop at this time? and wait for it to be fixed?
this fan not working
if a fan is not working, it is still okay to play games. the laptop will not run to the point where it overheats and damages itself, as it has failsafes to prevent this (thermal throttling and restarts) but your performance will definitely be worse until you get that fan replaced
but i would definitely try to get it replaced as soon as possible
can i remove the non-working fan? or leave it as it is?
Do not operate that machine with a broken fan
replace it
those fans are not just cooling the cpu, they are also helping cool passive components like VRMs and other power components
@lucid sapphire
high heat increases the rate of silicon degredation
if you want the machine to last, replace the fan
Nah
not enough heat to require that
but it will shorten its life span
Bad memory, most of the time
yes
Been an engineer for 22 years, dont try and tell me what isnt the issue when it comes to visual artifacting on gpus. cause the ramp curves for smd soldering will blow your noodle
there is not enough heat build up in the cpu package to require it, the solder under the silicon substrate, maybe, but its not a permanent. and you just cause more heat cycles on the gpu core.
Question
what is the melting point of ROHS compliant solder?
Andddd, blocked
@lucid sapphire this person is spewing nonsence, replace the fan, get your cooling system serviced. If it is the fan, its an easy fix, as the model number on the fan should allow you to find a replacement. if its the feed to the fan, then you are gonna need to take it to a specialist.
Ok guys, thanks for the replies, I'd better replace the cpu fan and then use the laptop as it's best not to use it at this point.
