Hello, i have running problems since i installed a new GPU (RX 6600), it takes looong to load anything, i tried reinstalling the AMD drivers and used DDU for Nvidia twice (the first instalattion and the second one), didnt changed nothing, even with AMD configs on different webs, and the specs many friends tells aren't the problem, just maybe the HDD but shouldnt take longer than before the upgrade
Specs:
RX6600 (GT1030)
750W Bronce
R5 1600AF
8GB RAM 3200MHz
1TB 7200RPM

Edit: Should o try to reinstall a clean W11? I dont really want cause i dont want to delete any picture

Just back everything up and reinstall, also make sure your system isn't bottlenecked

#

DDU doesn't work all the time

indigo perch
#

Wdym by back everything?

bleak basin
#

Put your photos and important files on a flash drive or Google drive

indigo perch
#

So, a clean instalation

bleak basin
#

Yes

indigo perch
#

Cause is not the system, i tried, ty, i will try tomorrow

bleak basin
#

What's the CPU?

indigo perch
#

R5 1600AF (2600 with 0.2Ghz less)

bleak basin
#

You're SUPER bottlenecked

#

That's.. yikes

indigo perch
#

Wdym?, i saw a LOT of benchs with it, and it doesnt

#

Or shouldnt do

bleak basin
#

Don't trust user benchmark if you looked there

#

Anti AMD

indigo perch
#

Not in this server

bleak basin
#

But your CPU is beyond bottlenecked

#

It's so weak that's why your system is slow

#

You outta get yourself a new CPU

indigo perch
#

Uhh

bleak basin
#

something like a Ryzen 5 2600 will do you good

indigo perch
#

Bro

#

1600af is literally 2600 with 0.2 less clock

#

Is not a 1600 at all

bleak basin
#

Odd..

indigo perch
#

Or im tripping

bleak basin
#

Let me check

#

They're practically the same..

indigo perch
#

Yeah

bleak basin
#

If anything go for a higher CPU. I was still bottlenecked with a 6800 XT and my old 5 2600

indigo perch
#

Thats what i told you

indigo perch
#

Thats why it looks weird

bleak basin
#

I have a 9 5950x now and it's super smooth. But try a fresh reinstall and if it doesn't get anywhere then I'd aim for a CPU down the line

indigo perch
#

I will try to get a USB and start from 0 i guess

bleak basin
#

Yeah I had your same issue. Worked myself to death to get my new CPU

indigo perch
#

Looking into calculators and more vids, it has literally only 3% bottleneck between both like, thats normal

#

Ill do a fresh start rn

#

@bleak basin does the Fresh Start remove the Drivers and use the generics ones?

bleak basin
#

It'll start but auto install them after a bit

#

Unless it's extra software you need like dragon center and whatnot

indigo perch
#

Ty

indigo perch
#

Goodbye 0% fragmented

indigo perch
#

Ty @bleak basin , reinstalling W11 solved it (for now) i didnt tried a game yet, i will do later

indigo perch
#

Just tested Dying Light Enhances in Ultra quality, ofc, was the Windows, i got +100FPS with my proccs/ram in it, ty for your help @bleak basin ily

#

(and yes, in the open world)

bleak basin
#

Your welcome lmao glad it's working

indigo perch
#

You scared me with that proccessor thing ngl

bleak basin
#

Windows can be really stupid sometimes

indigo perch
#

I saw what Windows deleted and yes, was DDU problem, i still got Nvidia PhysX and some drivers

bleak basin
#

I had similar issues on windows, so I gave up and moved to Linux then reinstalled it and found out that everything worked again upon installing it lmao

indigo perch
#

At least i dont need to install +30000 things than Linux

bleak basin
#

It's actually way better to install things on Linux funnily enough. People are just intimidated by the command line even though it's infinitely more easy than navigating a site to potentially download a malicious executable file
