Just wait until wed. Lots of people go out and grab the elytras, but others grab them and gift it new players. Just ask whoever is online immediately after resource reset. I'll try to grab you one if I can get online.

There are plenty of ships to find, and even if you can’t there is the usual 5-7 day reset window

last time i went end raiding i could not find any
