Sorry for the phone pic!
I'm playing on Steam deck. Only bought the game today and was looking forward to making my kitty look as much like my cat as possible but... even after leaving the customiser, I'm left with these texture lines all over the cat. They only appear on the black parts of the cat it seems but I've no idea why.
Edit: I've tried to replicate the issue on PC and can't. It looks fine on PC. Seems to be a Steam deck issue.

yeah thats wierd! have you tried turning your steamdeck off and on again? that works on pc just turning the game off and back on again! so maybe turning your steamdeck off and on could help

I've tried another base colour and no matter what marking or colour I place down, there's a texture box around the marking. I guess that's what this issue is but not sure why it's just me that seems to be getting it.
