Yes I remember all the costumes. It is one of the biggest costumes cons. I did the panels for the TV shows mainly and get autographs. I have a lot of picture with celebrities. Then did a lot of people watching at night. Get in bed around 2 or 3 am. The up at 8 am to start all over again haha

Can go with whatever, really, but id do the bar as a slightly "nicer" wood (i figure cap'n has some pride in it) and the seating and dining more common

Yes. It works. I was going to do the two "L" shape bars and the table in the middle with the barrels and bottle for December.

I used tan skin on mine so far. I did 1 drop of tan skin and mix a brush loaded with water in it. Then I applied 3 or 4 layers to the minis skin/face. I wanteed to to look a little transucent but also look like skin. I'll post a pic when I get home.

I got them but I haven't painted a model with them yet. The models I was painting didn't fix the color schemes. So I plan on doing one this month. Then I'll let you know.
A tip that Anne said on her reaper show was if you use a wet pallet keep it a little drier than you do with other paint or even MSP original.

Experimented with the tinted gloss last night and made a small breakthrough. It felt WAY better this second third around. Going to keep messing with it today.

I like it! I have 1 bottle of the breast cancer awareness pink in my travel box strictly for base-coating my yellows. It's the only reason I would carry pink with me 🤣

It's my go-to. Better appearing coverage, fewer layers needed to get there.
I saw n army painter who liked to basecoat a yellow armored figurine with pink in the shadow and white in the light. Helped with contrasting the yellow.

Looks good. I too use breastcancer pink for undercoating yellow. I like the look better than undercoating with white
