#Can you fix the red dot thingy on 70* angles?

It’s pretty confusing, with poor game design that’s not friendly to new players, and it misleads people by claiming this spot is an overmatch at this angle even though it’s an auto ricochet. You could just let people know that 70° angles are always an Automatic yellow chance no matter what instead of calling it red chance, because of the le higher pen against the tank’s thickness.

That means you cant overmatch that side armor

#

You would need a 121mm + sized gun

#

As to overmatch you need to exceed the thickness of armor by 3x

#

Its red because you could technically pen it at 69 degrees but your at a richochet angle mitigating your pen

#

If anything its more skillful that it shows red, good players can use good sidescraling and angling to bait your shells into a richochet and good players will not shoot angled armor even if its red if they know it will richochet

When its not

#

Use grammar correctly

hollow crystal
# raw glacier You said yourself it was a overmatch

It’s not my fault you misunderstood. The point is, the crosshair turns red when I fire it, and it’s an auto-bounce, which misled me. In CW, when aiming at an Abrams tank with ERA spaced armor, while in a ATGM light tank the crosshair turns yellow to indicate you won’t penetrate it.

Clearly dont understand game logic lol

Stop coping

I can aim my 90mm gun at a 31mm side, just because its red doesnt mean im going to overmatch my shell

raw glacier
#

Red indicator doesnt mean your shell is going to overmatch armor

You can pen the armor your looking at if you weren't at a richochet angle

#

Its a skill issue here man

#

You should be aware when armor is angled 70+ degrees

#

Then you should also be aware of what caliber your gun is and the thickness of there armor, it literally rewards you for being knowledgeable

#

You want the game to be dumbed down and made easy for you, so you dont need to know any knowledge on angling or armor thickness in correlation to your gun caliber

#

Let's not do that

#

Instead learn how to not shoot angled armor thays a richochet angle

Which you cant overmatch

#

With a strv

#

I knew that insantly by looking at the video

#

Just admit you arent knowledgeable of the game

#

Why would you think your shell could pen a 40mm plate angled at a richochet with a 105mm apcr round? Because you lacked the knowledge to know the mt 25 has the thickness to not be overmatched on that specific armor plate

#

This is all things that can be learned with repetition and you want the game to hold your hand

#

Specifically when its light armor 30-50mm it is red

#

This is terrible rage bait

#

Just learn armor layouts

#

And remember them

#

This is a you issue im afraid

hollow crystal
# raw glacier This is terrible rage bait

Im going to guess you are a 40% winrater goodbye because you don't get the point that 70* angle It should tell you that aimming at the yellow spot that makes it a ricochet angle, not the red one lie to you that it is penable.

#

Average

#

But sure

#

Search it up, its not a flex, I am just competent enough to know the tanks armor thickness im shooting at because I have put time into this game to not just shoot when the crosshair is red like you clearly must do.

#

Literally caveman thought process

lol

@gloomy dew can you expain this luchifer guy what im talking about

#

Yea this works fine

#

Always been this way

#

People have to learn mechanics, and this is one of them. Overmatching

rich lichen
#

So is the "issue" from the OP that yes its a non pen, ricochet but the Hud is showing Red which is supposed to be a pen ?

You really shouldn't be relying on that red dot anyway. It's only ever shown the ability to penetrate the armour layer that you are looking at whilst flat-on.

It's a bit of a newbie trap, ever since they added the T26E4
