#Vehicle research/unlocks between games?

Well technically speaking, they are similar tanks, but different variants, e.g. M46 vs. M46A1 (or M47, depending on selected turret), Chieftain MK. 6 vs Chieftain MK. 5, Centurion MK. 5/1 vs. Centurion MK. 7/1, IS-4 vs. IS-4M, etc.
Cold war did have a very good silver and xp earn. The tanks getting close to era 3 were around 10 to 11 million silver when cold war was added. Eventually the tank cost was lowered and silver and xp earn was nerfed, but still better than in ww2. If ypu take a tank from ww2 and move it to era 1, its similar, but different. They get buffed to be put in era 1. So same but different. That is why if a tank you own is moved up to era 1 in cold war, you have to equip it or grind it and pay for the upgrades.
Cold war variants are entirely different tanks with different meta to play around . And the ww2 equivalent is much different
In role
Cold war variants are faster
And stronger
Unlike there world War 2 counterparts
They also have to compete against Era tanks
It's not researching the same tank
It's researching a cold war mindset
And philosophy
This post makes no sense
Since it's asking if world War 2 meta is similar to cold war
It might say Heavy tank or Tank destroyer but don't be fooled
They're Hunters and Scouts
If you skip tanks, you skip learning all the different mechanics that come with CW, such as True Vision, the mechanic that most WWII mains struggle with when coming over to CW.
In WWII, TDs are feared and LTs are laughed at; in CW, LTs are feared and TDs are laughed at.
I wouldnt say thats 100% true. May be 60/40
