The game does not work perfectly with keyboard and mouse at least on playstation. Sometimes it is possible to start a battle by clicking with mouse and after an update it works again only with keyboard. This is totally random as the codebase is spaghetti. You never know what works and what does not after an update, and as keyboard and mouse users are fringe developers are not really interested in keeping them working as well as controllers. Advertising mouse and keyboard would be therefore not a good idea.

On Xbox it works really well for me, it's even an advantage because of the artillery.
