#Nemesis TD Buff/Gun Rework

The Nemesis TD as it currently stands is incredibly underpowered and not as mechanically unique as it appears. Right now, it just plays like a blind E100 with a derpy gun. Recently, a couple of us discussed lasers/railguns in this game so here is my suggestion to buff the Nemesis TD.

  • Buff the View Range slightly. The base view range is WAY too low to keep up with other tanks while not having camo or that much armor

  • The Gun

    • Turn the gun into a Railgun, making it feel more WH40K like in the process and being more unique.
    • Give the shells VERY high shell speed with minimal pen drop off. We're talking 2500+ m/s
    • To balance the near hitscan speeds, give the gun a charge-up mechanic similar to the T249 spin-up. It could be 0.5-2s where the barrel grows brighter until the tank finally fires. Charge-Up could scale based on the round fired

The alternative to the spin up, could be requiring the tank to be stationary, siege/drive mode type deals, etc.

Another note: Potentially increasing top speed as it loses a lot of armor but really doesn't move much faster than an E100

For me, the idea would be like a long range flamethrower on the M67, but instead of tick/dot dmg on its 3rd ammo, the RoF would be similar to that of a rotary gun. Very low dmg per hit (3-8), hit-scan velocity and medium-medium high pen (270-310mm), inability to penetrate spaced armor, and overheat instead of a reload.

And in context of the Nemesis, it could keep the medium alpha and high alpha first 2 shots, just the third would be the continuous laser, while the first 2 would just have the normal hit-scan velocity.

It doesn't seem worth completely reworking the mechanics on a limited release premium tank. If it needs a buff, just adjust some stats here and there, within reason. DON'T make it PAY TO WIN. We already have too powerful premiums. Tech tree tanks should still be better.

Really I would say the Nemesis is just fine right where it is at. The real problem is the other tanks that are too powerful. Nerf them instead. (I also know that won't happen)

if your tank is better than previous tier, thats enough, there is nobody stopping you as the highest tier.

All it does is make the gun mechanically unique and atleast warrant playing the vehicle

The only major "difference" in power between 9s and 10s lies between tier 9 heavies and tier 10 heavies btw @lament merlin

It does need a buff most definitely when they added the technodrone which does the same little shell thing with actually good stats

Yea it does more damage then the e100 but loose all its amor less hp, and to shoot the higher damage round you also have to pay the price of a gold round even though it makes it have a slower reload

Yeah I dont need to be op but make a e100 that does a little more damage and is overall worse in every other way is not worth it.

Littlerly all they would have to do is just give it some concealment so it can actually shoot with out getting pooped on
