#M4 Sherman HP Crisis

Did you upgrade the turret on your M4? It should be 650.
The average HP for non pref MM T5 meds is about 700~ with the median of 670~.
Theres 4 meds that have 800+ to offset them being kinda poor
Even considering the upgraded turret, my concern is with the base configuration of the M4 Sherman . I agree that more versatile tanks often trade HP for comfort. The issue is that in Modern Armor’s tempo, that trade doesn’t always pay off — higher-HP mediums can still outtrade the Sherman in direct engagements, which are very common in today’s gameplay, especially on tiers 3–6.
With the derp, its brutal.
Its the first Sherman so it should be low. The Pz IV starts at Tier 4. Shermans start at 5 and go on to Tier 6.
It also gets 12°
If the M4 Sherman’s low HP is justified by historical accuracy, then a question arises: why does the Grizzly I have 700 HP without any fundamental differences in hull or turret survivability?
And secondly, if we truly follow a historical approach, why does the T-34 have 650 HP on its stock turret instead of something closer to 520?
It looks like historical accuracy is being applied selectively rather than consistently.
Grizzly is a pref tank and thus shouldnt be looked at too much... well some pref tanks are arguably too good but heh.
as for the stock turret being so poor... eh dubious balance.
And a low pen gun. Its actually built like all Premiums should be, worse than the Tech Tree Version. The T 34 has the long standing Russian bias as default.
All tier 5 shermans are strong.
Full low down here
I like them, they make good trainers
At tier 6 the turret stops working. But at tier 5 they have 12° and daft dpm.
or you go tech tree and get a derp
the armour does work in various directions, very good tank for the green beans to play
the ripper is by far the worst. The imp is different
And molded hulls are different again
You want the champion? Or the US M4 tier 5, with the derp
failing that, the frostbite/grizzly.
