A Flash Hider equipment or a perk/skill would be really good for WW2/Cold war so that in Cold War, they don’t see the explosion and see where you’re firing from. And in WW2, they can’t trace the round to see where it’s coming from and “blind fire” and hit you.

The tracer would be unaffected by a "Flash Hider" since you're following the tracer, not looking for a plume of smoke and fire. As for CW, while they may seem the smoke and fire coming from your barrel, the hit marker they receive when you hit them would still give away your location.
