The T28 w F30 is one of the most OP tanks at tier IV due to its gun. It is unable to pen the FCM. That should be a perfect example that the armour on the FCM is stoopidly overturned.
Have checked all the tech trees. "NO" tier 4 has enough pen to get through the FCM stock, and only three tier 5s are able

To keep balance in general. They just moved the Pz38h to tier 3 so yes its possible to be OP even when it's not related to Mark's.
Also for why the FCM F4 is OP.
- Armor is just strong in general and better than almost every tier 5 heavy. This combined with the lack of any weakspots at all. The only vague spot to shoot is to spam HE on the 30mm roof and even then its iffy.
- Top 75mm has a way too fast reload. 2.9 reload as opposed to the expected 4.5 or something.
- Arguably should only have a 900hp engine instead of the current 1100hp. Even if they adjust the armor to more appropriate level, the mobilty may still prove a small issue.

Put it into perspective. The machine gun port is 65mm but its rounded.
The the lower plate is 80 but angled.
The weakest part is the flat 100mm plate around the machine gun port.
This means the tanks weakest point is in line with the tiger 1!

Yeah this thing IS the definition of seal clubbing at tier 4. It makes the blitzen bucket and even the hetzer look silly. I load all HE in the hetzer but started loading 1 or 2 heat rounds for the fcm and it can pen the cupola but usually when it’s bearing down on you, you simply don’t have time to shoot the cupola as the fcm is so damn fast
Not sure how the needle stacks to it as I don’t have it on this account as I lost my old one
It needs a reload nerf and likely speed nerf. Armor wise yeah nerf it a bit. It can still be powerful, but shooting standard ammo? lol it’s insane even with full prem loaded

I've had no problems penning it with my TDs at range with gold rounds same with Mediums was 120m plus gold. Arty loves it. It is incredibly fast for its size. Slowing it down would be a starting point. Leave everything else as is and watch.

i think its more of an issue it has no weak spots and thus requires you to have to use gold.

Id recommend using the t28 with f30 85mm or the tt valentine with the 75mm it's apcr round gets 190mm pen
Both of those easily can slug it out with it
But incase yall didn't know if you're for whatever reason also playing the fcm f4 it's own gun can actually kill another one but only spot ive found that works is the turret ring so yeah there's that

The tier 4 FCM is an easy fix since it is a tech tree tank. There are no limits like there might be on a premium. They don't need to wait a year, etc.
Just nerf the armor down from 120mm to something reasonable. Certainly nerf the coupola from 120mm down to maybe half that. I think 120 mm on a coupola is Certainly High tier amounts of armor.

The mobility is pretty crazy for a tier 4 that has 120mm think armor. That's about 4 3/4" inches thick.
Then is has two engines and 1100 total horsepower. That's what the AMX 65T, tier 8 French Heavy gets for engine power. I think the FCM calculates out to 65 tons too.
It should get rid of the top double engines.
Seems like the FCM F4 was a complete pipe dream that would not have been possible to make work and become a reality.

Load all gold in a dw2 and u can pen frontally. Or use the hetzer and shoot heat at the side or just HE to death
The Matilda with gold can pen it frontally but its not as high as the dw2 and can struggle
It is satisfying face hugging one of these things in a hetzer and blasting them with HE, but they can pen and kill you with heat if they’re halfway decent
