I would agree. It's still early, but so far I have enjoyed it.
Are you referring ww2 ore cw mod? Cw is just the same ore worse with Wolf packing.
I'm really enjoying CW for the first time in years.
I actually spent some money on the game for the first time in years.
The gameplay is so much for strategic and thought provoking.
If I want a bunch of clown cars racing around with terrible yolo gameplay I'll go play fortnite.
I mean yes there are more wolf packs in CW than WWII.
With true vision you have to rush and control the most strategic parts of the map.
In your example the G6 portion of the map is that area. The enemy team got the memo and yours didn't.
What i fail to understand is how not having uber camo ATGM clown cars yoloing around at 90kph makes this issue you have worse. All they accomplished was adding more chaos to an already more chaotic mode.
If anything the games are slower now both in a literal sense because speed got nerfed but also because DPM was nerfed significantly. Increasing the time to kill.
Has nothing to do with control anything, its moving around map in pack to get the protection against fast moving atgm vehicles like a fishing shoal. Big groups are safer than been alone with all the machine guns and atgm vehicles yoloing headless around in this game
These vehicles you have a problem with recieved significant nerfs in this update.
Heavies and mediums are 100% the meta in era 3 now. The missile platforms aren't a problem in era 3 anymore.
Era 2 is debatable. Mostly that is just because effective armor was uncommon in the era 2 time period. So glass cannons with speed are particularly effective.
It was not my problem, game has the problem, that's why its wolf packing. Safty in many. I was pretty clear in my text l thought

They need to be able to do 25k damage a game and then they might be good enough

The DPM argument is invalid.
All classes recieved the same DPM nerf. No class benefited from that change. It didnt make any class better or worse in comparison to one another.
I agree the accuracy nerfs in CW were unnecessary. That said they are actually a buff to tanks with armor as less accuracy makes hitting weakspots less reliable. So not a nerf to tanks with armor at all.
The missile tanks seem to be doing the same damage as they were doing before
On dual weapon system the change is utterly minor. They still do the same damage if you play it right.
I mean if you're going up against someone who has excellent aim then no. There is almost always a pixel that can be hit for a penetration.
Missiles have perfect accuracy and do exactly what the user asks. Thus they have the highest skill ceiling of any weapon in the game.
That said in most top tier heavies all I have to do is shoot gold straight through the turret cheeks or upper plate of almost anything in the game. Armor isn't really reliable at era 3 most of the time even without missiles.
Yes missiles haven’t been affected by the accuracy nerfs which gives players more incentives to play missile tanks
Missile platforms are meant to be great damage dealers at mid to long range.
With arming distance and the nerfed camo they are no longer effective at close range.
So the people who are still doing well are the more risk averse players who weren't getting close or never needed to get close to begin with.
The purpose of these nerfs was to force them into a support role and imo these changes have successfully accomplished that.
I think you're really over exaggerating the accuracy nerfs. My Leo2a5 went from .17 to .18. Oh no.

🤣 it really isn't. With 740mm of pen on my A2 I can mantlet pen almost anything.
If I can't do that I can upper plate it or turret cheek pen it.

You absolutely can do it to the A2 and the Chally. The Leo's you can't but you can absolutely upper plate them.
it is but i think you are blowing it a bit out of proportion. I think things are pretty chill atm
And of course missiles can still pen the m1 tanks through the upper plate but 120mm guns can’t

and speaking of ATGMs, i havent used the equipment yet but didnt spall liner get a module damage reduction against incoming missiles? Is that helping limit turret pops?
25% reduction to module damage from missiles is what it’s suppose to do I think. I don’t know if less turrets are being blown off now
Imo yes. Instead of detonating every time I get shot in my object 640s giant forehead I just receive ammo rack damage
i wouldve preferred if they just nerfed atgm module damage but this is an alright stop gap if it prevents instakills ig

I agree but a 25% reduction to ATGM module damage with spall liner and a 50% increase to module health with reinforced internals is very effective
oh i bet. I have been wanting to take out a heavy MBT with both, add in pain tolerance with armor angling and supply conservation, and then run that improved hull patch kit in place of medkit. On paper it sounds hilarious

Spall liner, pain tolerance, jack of all trades for the crew protection. Plus reinforced internals.
Then I can run a repair kit, hull patch, and food. It's disgusting.

I've been down with the flu, so haven't really had a chance to evaluate the changes, but I know my favourite tanks and commanders will be missing the features I always gave them, which now need to be re-filled. I seem to have "gained" 6th sense, going by all the warnings I now receive on the front row, but that still doesn't help me. Not as much as the skills I lost, that's for sure. But I'll adjust. I hacve to, after wasting a day trying to get the basics re-sorted again.
Speaking of "sorted", is there anyway to unscramble tanks in the selection screens? They are a jumbled mess at this point. Just place them one nation after another, like they were to begin with. Or is there already a hot-key to achieve that?
You dont have to be good to do good in those vehicles. Hide in the back let the heavy and medium do the work and farm points. Missil/machine gun vehicles do big damage in a short time.
