Been hearing a lot about future collab surveys today so figured it was a good time to post a suggestion for more Warhammer 40k tanks or 40k inspired tanks. There are an absolute ton of armored vehicles to choose from and I want to showcase a few of them in here that I think would make for some fun additions. My goal in providing stats is not so much a suggestion and is more to show how they could be added while keeping with some of the original spirit of the vehicle.

As I update this post with images, descriptions, more vehicles, and hopefully stat proposals I will add links to them next to their names below:

WIP: more chimeras

Starting with the Hydra, this is a medium armor SPAA vehicle that can be used in a direct fire role. Its weight comes in at 42 tons with a top speed of 50kph and a fully traversible turret. It has predicatably poor gun depression and in universe its accuracy against terrestrial targets is poor due to the vehicle's machine spirit refusing to lock on to them necessitating manual aim.

Stats wise this vehicle would need some edits but I believe will fit well into Era 2.

I do intend on the Vindicator being a WW2 tank and am undecided on where to put the Fellblades atm. I was thinking the Falchion could perhaps go to Era 2 with reinforced frontal armor and its improved firepower whereas the base Fellblade could hang around in WW2 occupying a similar niche to the Type 5

last full sale event had all the tanks available on their own, previous to that we did chests as part of Skull Fest which was a commander chest - which does have tanks with a very low drop chance (as they have been since they have been a thing). Previous feedback was that if tanks are in a chest, players would prefer that there be at least a mega bundle option so if someone really wants to go for the tanks (i would not advice aiming for the tanks in a commander chest) they can avoid spending a lot of money and not getting the tanks at all or that they want, so a mega bundle would avoid that.

So we did what was suggested and in the next sale had the tanks on their own Shruge

So for the Predator I'd like to focus on the Destructor pattern primarily but I might make a turret swap that allows it to mount the Annihilator patterns twin linked lascannons in favor of the autocannon. The autocannon I plan to treat as a 40mm similar to what we see on the Strf 9040 and the lascannons I will treat as 20mm. It will also have a hunter killer missile as a secondary, mounted to the side of the turret. Alongside its other characteristics I think this tank will be a good fit in Era 3

The Predator is an adaptation of the Rhino APC. Over time its usage has shifted between IFV and MBT depending on the force using it. The Predator Destructor is the autocannon variant pictured below. It is said to fire rounds "larger than a space marine's fist" with a high penetration HE round as well as an armor piercing option. Overall the vehicle carries many similar characteristics to something like a Bradley albeit altered to suit the combat of 40k. Armor wise the vehicle is surprisingly thick with its composite armor being 65mm thick and an under layer being 55mm on the sides and front and 50mm on the back with an additional 10mm reinforced upper glacius. This armor leads to a weight of 48 tons yet it retains a top speed of 68kph. There is another vairant of the Predator classed as the Predator Annihilator which replaces the autocannon for twin linked lascannons while retaining most of the same vehicle characteristics. In game this could be adapted as a simple turret change similar to the Rogal Dorn's loadout.

Most the warhammer ones are based on existing analogs or at least inspired by them. Many WW1 inspired heavies and a lot of the rest you can see clear connections to modern tanks ie Rhino to M113

fair enough, thats kind of a whole separate thing though. There are tons of wacky or collab cosmetic elements in the game. Ik PC has a filter for it but that would be a different thread

Been a bit too busy to get the Vindicator stats finished but I am kind of curious how anyone would feel if I went with a different armor pattern than what wot blitz used and instead went with the deimos pattern so I could drop the additional spaced armor

Alright so I've got the stat packages made (finally) for the Vindicator with some slight tweaks between the variant with the plow and the one without. I had to take some liberties to make these playable that otherwise would be kinda tough (example being 0 gun depression and yaw) as well as some of the overtuned elements like how this vehicle is another Rhino platform tank and as such shares its immense top road speed of 64kph which i felt compelled to reduce.

I feel it relevant to mention that I intended for this vehicle to share a similar hull armor thickness to the Predator which is said to be roughly 200mm effective armor between all of its spaced plates. For the sake of retaining WW2 modeling I would argue to drop the spaced armor to a single 10mm plate directly on top of a 200mm effective upper plate (which I assume for this vehicle would mean something aroud 150mm thick?) while the sides could be thinner at two sheets of something like 50mm interior and 20mm track guard. I decided to go with the more common Vindicator armor pattern rather than the Deimos pattern so please ignore the Iron Fists (yellow) vindicator above when you wish to see how the vehicle's armor may look.

The base model without the plow should be pennable with most tier 10 standards frontally when unangled. The plow variant should be thick enough to result in non-pen for all rounds but retain weakspots in the form of a viewport, cupola, and the flat bar across the top of the superstructure. I believe there should be an option to change variants in the loadout without making them separate tanks.

My plan was the twin accelerator cannons to go for something scaled down to about like the Type 5 140 but again I'll have full stats done probably tomorrow morning. I know it's not to scale for the lore or even compared to the other models but it's just such a cool vehicle and I'd like to see it in game if possible

I think the first and biggest issue is just controlling all the auxiliary systems. Cycling multiple turrets is hard enough to manage even with the Japanese super heavies and their mini turret, having 2 turrets with no overlap in firing angle and a center blind spot would be even more frustrating to manage with current controls.

I might get around to making some stat packages for em once i get through the current list. I could pretty much swap the non-gun stat package of the Fellblade to the Baneblade with little change tbh, I just went Fellblade because I wanted to make use of another DB heavy tank and preferred its turret geometry. Ill probably get around to adding a few of the others we have discussed once I get through the current list

Apologies for the long gap in me getting the next stat packs out, however I did finish both the Fellblade and Falchion.

For background info the Fellblade is an absolutely massive superheavy tank with devastating weapons capable of wiping out just about any ground target. For the purposes of WoT they would need to be massively scaled down.

CW could use a few tanks in the superheavy category and these two offer a chance for a massive raw armor hulk with firepower enough to demand respect from their enemies. Starting with the armor I would like to see these vehicles have armor on par with existing damage sponges like the Strv 122a, Molot, and Belka against kinetic muntions. For the Fellblade the cupola should remain a frontal weakspot while the inner hull above the track, sponson, and rear cupola should be side armor weakspots, while the rear hull remains extremely vulnerable. However unlike these vehicles I would propose going for raw effective armor rather than reliance on spacing or ERA countermeasures so that it may remain vulnerable to the high pen munitions (850mm+) if not angled sufficiently. The Falchion should have the same characteristics however adding the side and rear of the superstructure as a weakspot. The side armor on both should be thick enough to withstand conventional hits shallower than 60 degrees from kinetic munitions if not aimed for the weakspots. The side hull armor should be able to stop atgms completely with its thick spacing unless again aimed at weakspots.

In the firepower department these vehicles will hit hard, really hard thanks to their double barrel mechanics. Fighting these vehicles head on should be intimidating however they should struggle on account of their lacking DPM.

The Falchion is a tank destroyer variant of the Fellblade featuring much larger hull mounted Volcano cannons. In universe these are fortress breakers and titan killers, featuring some of the most devastating firepower possible for a terrestrial war machine. Its about on par with the 140-152mm guns of era 3 with pen moderately below them. The original vehicle is firing a laser so I wanted to preserve that feeling of a fast round while keeping its apocalyptic firepower. I am hoping worst in era mobility, largest in era size, and poor gun arc will help tamp down its firepower.

It is a double barrel but each barrel is 1150 so the combined shot damage is 2300 at a full lockout and reload time of 44s stock (ofc improved by skills/equipment)

with HE it would be capable of one shotting a bottom era stock LT 50% of the time which is pretty wild I agree but for such a massive vehicle I want to make it difficult to actually target such vehicles

Im going to continue going in order from top to bottom. On the Sicaran I am thinking of having 2 options of either the twin accelerator cannons (autocannon) or an omega plasma array (double barrel). Currently I am looking to see it added as a heavy (MBT) with great mobility and ok armor. Of the patterns I could find I thought these sounded the most interesting

The Leman Russ Vanquisher is an anti-tank variant of the Leman Russ we see in tier 10 currently. It mounts a larger, longer, and higher penetration Vanquisher cannon to the same platform so it would be best introduced as a turret option rather than a stand alone premium vehicle. The stat package above is intended to make the LR Vanquisher play more of a methodical support role in contrast to the LR's greater capacity for aggressive pushes.

So this is essentially a Leman Russ converted to a casemate tank destroyer. This stat package draws from the variable reload of other high caliber "laser" weapons such as the Nemesis for its gun. It suffers from poor gun arcs so to make this a bit more playable I suggest adding siege mode to the vehicle. Its armor thickness would be akin to that of the Leman Russ at tier 10, leaving it rather vulnerable to most weapons in Era 2 beyond autocannons.

It would be pretty tough to make use of pintle mounted guns with how the game flows so I tried my best. The obvious limitation of a massive blind spot is difficult to overcome. The idea I went for was something that can put out autocannon damage beyond something like the Marder but with the obvious limit of nearly never being able to put its full firepower on target reliably and a lower clip size on each turret. I reduced its mobility significantly from its official specifications but 38hpt on a nearly 80 ton tank is just waaaaaaay to good for ramming even after I nuked the turn speed. Its armor is not very thick, most vehicles besides autocannons should have little difficulty punching through any of its armor except when angled, which the side mounted turrets would allow for. The gun should not be part of the damage model but the housing should be.

The gameplay loop I targeted is a vehicle that has difficulty turning but has the speed and weight to be a tough opponent up close. This vehicle would be a solid sidescraper and excellent rammer but would have to sacrfice its autocannon burst damage to do so. Its armor is 95mm across the hull and superstructure making it highly vulnerable when caught out of position. This should create a risky vehicle that wants to throw its weight at targets but risks being outmaneuvered and outgunned when an opponent can avoid being hit with both turrets.
