This tank wasn't all that fantastic on release and with the vehicles it competes with to be picked being buffed in the most recent patch, I would like to see this one buffed as well.

This tank could definitely use some buffs. Before the winter event would make sense to boost sales. It has been a very mediocre heavium at tier X.

They could start by unnerfing the skins armour it used to give spaced armour on the turret and lose the spaced armour on the upper plate now it just loses the spaced entirely if you use the skin

Since the meta will change with the upcoming overhaul, I would just wait and see what happens. Right now the Meta greatly favors high camo tanks. The overhaul will balance things out more.
While the KPZ 07P is a mediocre to poor Heavy tank right now, the overhaul might make a big difference for it. not that it will be more powerful, but the hidden, big gun TDS will be getting balanced. So a mediocre to poor heavy might just end up average compared to all tanks after the overhaul.
Will that happen? I can't be sure one way or the other. That is why it is better to just wait.

There are simply better heavy tank options in its niche when it comes to the hard stats of the vehicle so I doubt the equipment changes are going to do much for it in that regard.
Currently this vehicle is sitting in the "why play it?" zone when it's uniquely high alpha 120mm gun now sits below the buffed 120s it used to compete with. And of course this means it's lower dpm feels even worse.

Yes. But with big changes coming it is still better to wait. Also I would rather the kpz be buffed in a way to give it some what different strengths. Until the overhaul hits, no one can be certain what adjustments may or may not be needed.
Patience is the best course of action in balance decisions right now. That being said the sooner the better for the overhaul.
