Something must be wrong with sixth sense. Near end of clip, guy seemingly takes a weirdly close blind shot through canopy/brush though sixth sense indicated I was no longer detected a while ago.

Having issues with discord accepting clip—will be next post if I can manage it.

Sorry switching to speech to text so I apologize if some of this sounds a little iffy. So I the reason why I ask is because there are actually quite a few people who ask questions that can easily be solved by saying you're in a different mode, such as you know. Hey, I got shot by an invisible tank. I can't see them when they're used to playing Cold War where you can always see them or vice versa. Hey, I got shot and I wasn't even detected but it was in Cold War.

Judging by the clip, I can only assume that the person might have done what I usually do, which is if somebody spotted on corellia even if they go on spot I might just take a random shot and judging by the distance that you are from the person you spotted and with how accuracy works at that distance. I would say that maybe that round India going a little astray and that's why it looks like it landed so close to it when really he was trying to aim at where you were last at. I don't know if that makes sense. Again, I apologize. It's speech to text so I can't get it written down a little bit better than this right now

Possibly, but that shot is a long way away from where I was at and he was only detected because he fired so I don’t think he was rushing a blind shot.

I seemingly get update downloads every time I log on and I assume they are preloading stuff for the next update—and maybe some code got cross wired. They should be able to tell if he was following me longer than sixth sense was displaying. They said they weren’t adding the delay, but there is a turn off on PC as well—even if you are still spotted—iirc.

Yes, he may have not been rushing a shot but to be fair if americanity again, I can't look at the clip right now, but if I remember correctly the person was at least 400ish meters away and the most accurate tank tends to be about 3 or I should say the average of Tanks. Accuracy is usually like 0.34 0.37 around that area and that's for every 100 m. So at 400 m you're looking at probably about 1.5 M off Target at 400 m and because of the low angle I wish they shot at you. There is a possibility that that 1.5 M would have made that round come in. Very very short. You know by a couple meters. Unfortunately I can't really show you the math behind that. But yeah, unfortunately because of the angle there is a possibility that I could have landed that short while still aiming at where you were not where you currently are. Again, I apologize. I'm using speech to text so unfortunately you get my chaotic kiss when it comes to how I talk

So I just thought about it the best way I could give you a visual representation of what I'm trying to describe. Kind of requires you knowing how it looks when you play artillery. When trying to hit a Target at a very shallow angle, you'll see that the reticle tends to elongate and so while you may be aiming directly at the Target, your shells might fly very, very short or very very far. You know a near Miss or a farm is by a good amount and so that might be the case. Here is the shell fell short and because of how shallow of an angle it is, the person might have been aiming at where you were at and it just felt really sure you get what I mean?

There is like a 100m between where I was and a significant amount of time for someone to just randomly blind shot where I was. 🤷🏻‍♂️
I’ll let them look at it, and don’t really need an explanation.

Personally my belief is there is a delay between 6th sense and detection no longer displaying, and when you turn invisible again. Much like PC. But this is just my belief.

All I have to go on is bot behavior in CW when the bot has multiple targets. If it aims at me (with 6th and detected lit) and I "hide" from view, my icons dim off, and it's 3-5 seconds after that before the bot targets a different tank.

And we all know bots can lock on to you across map, so there's that for consideration.

It's not overly consistent mind you, but happens a lot in CW mode where you can still see the tanks. So "invisibility" doesn't happen, but bot behavior shows it'll shoot who it can vs a player it can't.

Proximity is another thing to consider too. The closer, the more "favorited" target.

#

Anyway, it's just a theory about the delay. I have no solid proof as of yet.

I may have to do a WWII game in co-op, record one playback from my view and one from enemy view, sync them up and see when my icons dim vs I turn invisible to them.

All tanks accounted for over the other side of the map yet sixth sense is lighting up like a Christmas tree. CW US server. Just a bug but quite annoying

After watching it a bunch im thinking its a guy trying hit you even after you go unspotted. I've tried this a lot and even i surprise myself guessing correctly where a guys going or if that bush has a gun😆 . The enemy is an isu-152 I believe and when you play that tank you do a lot of staring in one direction(fixed gun no turret). You wait and go unspotted but in just a few seconds start moving forward(as you should) and that isu-152 knows that and is anticipating the movement and shooting with an educated guess due to the fact he knows you're down there, just killed his buddy and are on your way. When you play that tank hitting a shot like that can literally change the outcome of the game but is a gamble due to the amount of time you're burned.

I like the assumptions of a blind shots 8 seconds later and 100 meters away into relatively open fields with intermittent rocks and bushes—particularly as he is being pressured from his left, but I’m not asking for an explanation but for WG to check.

If he is directly following my movement with his gun, then he was seeing something that wasn’t appropriately relayed to me. That is really the all of it.

Does anybody know if the water splashes are visible to the enemy?
