I almost never have issues with my internet connection. Even less while playing this game. for the record. Something is up on the North American server and some peoples connection to it including mine has been less than ideal . I’ve been seeing my tank snap to positions and rubber band. When I switch to the EU server all the issues are severely diminished. All of this was live streamed on my channel grudgebringer03. The name of the broadcast is ; grindy mc grindface.
#North American server lag

If anybody from wg watches with audio please excuse the choice words I used. It was out of frustration.
Here before it’s a “reach out to customer service” lol
Hopefully this gets looked into instead of deflecting the problem to costumer service that don’t/ cannot help because the problem doesn’t apply to my side of the internet.
I am having the same issues on both servers on both Xbox one and x, both today and tonight, so it is some update issue
The hot patch kinda fixed the issue…for a few hours
Not for me it’s bad last couple battles, it really got worse when I finally took out an unretired tank
I’m sorry for the inconvenience brother. Hopefully we get some insight soon.
Yeah I am lagging on both servers really badly.
Yes USA server is 10-20 ms slower than normal. I’m usually at 20ms now I seem to float around 40ms
For me I’m in the 40-80s. With massive spikes
Still very much lag spiking
The lag went away yesterday but has returned.
Absolutely put in a customer service ticket for this.
The reason it’s recommended is because they have the tools to look into this with you, and to help locate where the issue lies between you as a user and them as a host.
Connections are not simply A -> B, there’s a lot of interlinking points that any one of them can go wrong either locally or regionally, and the reason they ask you to do the tedious steps before the bigger ones is to remove variables one by one, and those annoying ones tend to be the fastest and most frequent.

It’s also been getting worse. It’s getting the feeling of what the EU server and KB witnessed on stream a few months ago. We have also tried bringing it up and the keep shutting bug reports saying it’s our connection
EU is a known and separate issue, this is for the recent complaints with NA.
I know but I’m just saying it’s similarities
The bug reports being closed are to consolidate them to one place, and the only way to investigate the issue and pattern is through support, they have the tools.
Hello Dave, I have sent in the ticket saying almost the exact same thing. I really do hope this issue is fixed soon so I can go back to enjoying this game.
FWIW, those who have filed tickets have found out its the ISP they are routed through and not the server. Charter ISP seems to be the main culprit for the issues.
Didn’t have any lag other than an occasional blip before the patch, now have almost constant lag making the game miserable to play. What’s stranger is I also see lag happening when I’m watching a platoon mate playing but he’s not having any lag at all on his end. Something changed with the patch.
I am lagging on both servers and in the garage and I have Comcast.
I seem to be getting the deflection and not the solving of the issues. I will simply have to wait for next Tuesday for the update to see if that fixes the issue. Again it’s not a my end problem. Me and some other people have been troubleshooting and troubleshooting and it is solved nothing. And I’m not going to play go to this and that for extra info that won’t be helpful.
Like I said before I’ve never had issues before. This update something changed and some players are getting bad connection issues. But on a different server or any other games it is near perfect ping/no lag/snapping/rubberbanding.
And it is not on my end.
Maybe a server reset will do WOT justice.
Idk
Also what they are asking for is something I can’t look up. No computer.
Interesting, I don’t have issues with other games I connect to.
An update comes out for WOT and the issue is what ISP we are routed to? I am sorry but that’s a cop out.
It’s always the player never the game having issues. I mean shall we bring up how ghost shells are getting worse? Or that’s going to come back to my tv, Xbox or connection im sure.
I mean it’s kinda like how I put lag disappear when 360 got dropped awhile back.
Unless that other game is hosted in the same building as our server, it has no relation to your connection to the game.
How your packets from from your house to the server is a different path than to where some other games sever is located.
So you are confirming it’s a server issue. Your server is using something different than others and is causing issues.
Hello, checking your ticket, you were not deflected. They were attempting to help you troubleshoot and you closed it.
No, its a connection issue
Please keep saying it’s a connection issue because people are not playing the game because of how unplayable it is.
This isn’t a few people. It’s the community
It's already been confirmed to be an issue with an ISP for those who have filed a ticket to receive help. It is not the server.
If your ISP uses that ISP to route your network through, you'd also be impacted.
Max, how is it the ISP when everything was working just fine before the patch and suddenly the game is laggy after the patch? It stands to reason that the thing that changed is the cause of the problem.
Game updates have 0 impact on the internet. There is 0 relation between them.
And update is files on your Console, it does not change your network connection.
