#Game Clock

@mystic nimbus Not true.
I have PICS that show otherwise.
This is just the most recent.
Besides.
It doesn't change the fact that the game clock is BROKEN!
It’s literally true lol
You cannot see which of your enemy team are in the game or not
They always appear loaded in
It's not broken, it adjusts based on the number of players who have loaded in. If people upgrade their consoles (current gen has been out nearly 5 years) there wouldn't be a need to stagger the timer.
The entire team could DC and it would still show them all as red
@dusky pendant It is broken.
It goes from 1:19 to 0:19 without everyone loaded in.
I just don't understand why players argue about trying to fix a problem in the game.
This is something that just started a few months back.
Don't you want the game fixed?
I just don't get it.
It’s not broken
It will jump times once a threshold of players has loaded in
It’s a problem of old gen players
Game is being held back by them
@tame gust So let the timer count all the way down instead of jumping.
What is so wrong about that?
Please.
Tell me.
What?
It only takes an additional 30 seconds to get everyone loaded in.
That is it.
30 seconds.
The clock jumps from 1:19 to 0:19.
It's intentional. It allows current gen players to enjoy the game without having to wait on old gen as much. It also gives an incentive to upgrade consoles. Old gen is severely holding back the game and I'd argue loading into a match 30 seconds after start is a lot nicer of a compromise than dropping support for old gen entirely
The countdown timer jumps from 1:19 to 0:19.
Just let it count down.
No need when most the lobby is loaded in
Thats just making people wait for no reason
It is 30 seconds.
Which can be waited by the few rather than the many
What if.
Just what if.
You were one of those that this always happened too.
I bet you would feel different.
WG is always doing stupid stuff to make everyone happy.
This absolutely affects the players and the game.
If you cannot afford a new gen console you have bigger things to worry about than playing WoT
I’d rather not make changes to degrade the game further that’s already being held back by previous gen console owners
That’s meant in the least disrespectful way possible
@tame gust I have a new console.
But there are people that can't.
And they have more pressing issues than a 30 second delay
A 30 second fix is easy.
Fix the low hanging fruit.
The clock jumps from 1:19 to 0:19.
I don't understand why nobody understands this.
Just let it count down another 30 seconds
Because anything to do with encouraging precious gen players to stay on previous gen is damaging to the game
There’s a large amount of things we could have on this game but can’t bc the PS4 and XBone could not handle it
Appeasing them is dumb
The timer on PC is 5 minutes.
They don't complain.
That’s because there’s things they can do like swap builds and communicate with each other
Continuing to handicap the game for an outdated platform is a bad idea. If loading in late is how they can keep new gen happy while still allowing last gen to play then so be it. Forcing new gen to load the match at old gen speeds is a quick way to lose the interest of new gen players who don't want to have to wait that entire timer every match.
The timer has done that the entire 4 years I've played the game.
A jump from 1:19 to 0:19 is not 30 seconds... it's 60. So it's shaving off a whole minute when enough people are loaded in.
@velvet kernel I can do math.
It takes up to 30 seconds for everyone to be loaded in after the timer reaches ZERO and the match has started.
So. If the timer jumps from 1:19 to 0:19 and everyone isn't loaded. What is the problem with just letting the timer continue to count down?

Because player base would fall even more if new gen had to wait 30+ seconds for old gen to load in. People have no patience anymore
It is even more annoying when the game starts so slowly that almost a minute has already passed. Sometimes it is enough to see half of your team wiped out when you get into battle.
@candid jay Thank you.
Someone that gets it and understands.
If half your team dies in the first minute of the match, you loading in 30 seconds earlier wouldnt have made a lick of difference
Bad example
How do you know I am not THAT good? Just joking. Anyway, this is a new thing and happening almost all the time in CW COOP. Should be fixed. Very annoying. And it is even more annoying in CW era3 murder runs where the bots are killed superfast and team has mostly humans. There you lose half of damage and XP thanks to the delayed start. REALLY ANNOYING.
@candid jay ABSOLUTELY.
It happens in Multi-player in almost every match.
Sometimes we jump from the garage into a match that has already started.
How did the match maker figure that out.
Select my tank and shoved into a match that started 10 seconds ago.
Meaning more losses I guess. Hope this will get fixed. Otherwise it might be as effective as overpowered magic bots in WW2 in driving people away from the game.
@candid jay You are correct. I can't believe how many players argue about fixing something that is obviously broken and would be easy.
They talk about Quality of Game changes all the time.
This is low hanging fruit.
Which console do you use? I have ps4. Maybe this depends on console.
@candid jay I am on the PS5.
I don't have the issue anymore.
However, it doesn't make it right.
WG could easily fix this issue.
Low hanging fruit.
They choose not to fix it.
It would be a good fix. Most players would not even notice the timer difference.
What was the topic even about?
