With the return of the D day event and how enjoyable it has been to play can we get more of these events in the future?
Maybe something historical like a Kursk, Kasserine pass or El Alamein tank battles.

This years d-day mode hasn’t been enjoyable to play, I think it was better last year. There is no health pickups this year so if you are low health you need to get your tank killed especially if you are low on ammo and when you respawn near the bunkers you get killed almost instantly and you get strafed by planes as well which didn’t happen last year.

There's a LOT of issues in the mode

Namely the accuracy and DPM of bots + the unfairness of planes

Randomly getting smacked across the map for >500 damage twice in a few seconds is ridiculous

Having a plane strafe your position with no time to even try to dodge is not fun

Getting RB + RTd non-stop is not fun

Despite all that I've never come close to losing the mode

Kursk would be fun, Germans -Panthers and Tiger 1 vs Russians T-34 they just had a lot more, like a lot, for game (T5-7). El Alamein would be like T3-T4. Kasserine Pass would be like T4-5.

Kasserine would have to be Tier 6 at least to get Tiger tanks.

Given WG have "created" several mini War Story settings already, Halloween, Xmas OP, Xmas Toy Tanks, Two D Day OPs a few more spaced out over a Calendar year would be good. Apart from the WWII battles above 1 or 2 CW battles would be good.

Their are a few Tier 6 Premium Tigers WG have. I would "assume" the Germans are the bad guys and they are attacking Kasserine, and the US and Commonwealth forces are defending (although it might depend on the beginning or middle or end time the OP is set). It would be nice to have an early Tiger vs Tier 4 and 5 rather than what the regular Tigers get.

The tiger for Kasserine could be the Boss, it’s not like the D day tigers were regular Tigers stats wise.

Those battles could give a good mix of nations, perhaps other battles would suit to spread out the calendar but,
I’m sure there’s other battles that could be suggested for Cold War tanks. Golan heights comes to mind.

Only thing I’d suggest off the top of my head for improvements would be adding in “Halloween Spectre” style free to play tank for each battle that way everyone has a vehicle that can be played in the event.

Yes 1 free to use tank per event would help new players if they don't meet the Tier/Era requirements.
