soooo prior to Sweden adopting the Strv 121, they set out on making their own third gen mbt
there were lots of variants planned for testing, however msot of them would fall out of favor
some of the turret drawing were even proposed for mounting on modifed CV90 chassis (you can tell with some of them having 7 road wheels)
The tanks wrre made to replace the Strv 103 and 101/102/ the then 104 tanks that Sweden had in service at the time
the first drawing shows the turret of the T120

basaically, the T120 starts era 3 off with a singular 120mm gun, then evolves into the concept T120/40 which has a 40mm bofors auto cannon

though the front/front sides of the tanks would be very well armored, the actual thickness of the tanks armor wouldnt be that great at stopping higher pen apfsds round
and the entire rear side of the tank housed the ammo rack, so to balance it would it would ve very suseptible to ammo rack damage/getting ammo racked

and so i envisioned the line as a sort of teaching ground for being hull down in era 1, moving on to using the hydropneumatic suspension and using that in era 2, then combining the two for era 3

during the late 40s, Switzerland was interested in lightweight style of medium tanks and went to Sweden for request of making a tank for them
a few designs were made, but the lansen project would be the most in depth made of the tanks
Lansen would be armed with a 75mm gun much like the Leo tank
Lansen B
after the Lansen blueprints were finalised, the Lansen B variant would be made in a full scale mockup with the idea of mountin the british 84mm gun
the projected armor layout was slightly different between the B and the first Lansen
Lansen C is already in the game and just needs to be ported over, but it was essentially the last verison of the Lansen tank that was designed before the project would be cancelled due to Switzerland moving towards their own KW 30 tanks (eventually Panzer 58) tank project
UDES 15
during the whole UDES project phase that Sweden was going through, Bofors would make the UDES 15 tank concept with the idea of replacing the Strv 101/102 tanks
Eventually, the 15 would merge together with the Hagglunds UDES 16 tank to create the UDES 15/16
UDES 16 and UDES 15/16 are alrady in game and so they just need to be ported over with hightened stats and shells fitting their gun types and era
UDES 18
after the UDES 15/16 was made, the UDES project would eventually turn its interests towards tanks replacing the Strv 103 tanks with a manless turret approach
the UDES 18 was proposed to have either the option of having a 105mm gun or a 120mm gun
UDES 18 would further influence the design of the UDES 19
UDES 19
One of the few UDES tanks that was made in a a full scale model, the UDES 19 would be the groundbed for the idea of an articulating tank chassis which would then be realized with the UDES XX-20
lastly, the UDES XX-20
Sweden would become interested in the articulating chassis style of tanks due to how the system would handle terrain types and ditches
alongisde that, the tanks could be used to make a psuedo hydropneumatic system like on the Strv 103 and UDES tanks prior to it
the tanks had very good advantages but also a few big disadvantages that made it stay on the drazwing board until the projects eventual cancellation
all UDES tanks UDES 16/15 upwards were supposed to have 120mm guns

Swedish varitant of the Centurion Mk10
the whole swedish centurion to leopard line is going to be a no frills MBT line with simple and predictable functionality
if you want more centurions and or leopards, this is the line to go
Strv 101R
starting Era 2 off with this and I beleive that most/all centurion tanks in era 2/potentially era 3 should have ERA
Strv 101R was one such tank that would be fitted with the Israeli BLAZER ERA packages that Sweden would get ahold of
they would also upgrade the gun stabilization, suspenstion, and add a laser rangefinder
Strv 102R is very similar in looks to the 101R, but varries slightly with the internals and base armor of the tank
Strv 102R is essentially the Strv 81 but upgunned and up ammoed with the British L7 gun (like so many other tanks at the time)
The Strv 102R would then be used as the basis for the Strv 104

The Strv 104s would upgrade the Strv 102Rs with better engines, and automatic transmission, even better suspension, and the better m/80 round for the gun
the Strv 104 would be the last centurion tanks to serve with the Sweidhs army before their eventual usurpation by the Strv 121

starting era 3 off, we have this thingy
even though the Strv 104 was the last centurion tank to serve the Swedes, the project for imporving the centurions continued with the Strv 105
the Strv 105 would improve upon the suspension, the sighting systems (adding thermals, a new drivers hatch for better protection, and better apfsds rounds
only one protytpe would be built before its cancellation

essentially the Swedish version of the Leopard 2a4

It uses the same weapon system as the one Halloween tank.
I'd rather not have that thing rush me at CW speeds dump like 2K damage and run off before anyone can do anything about it.
Like. I actually love the thing. I think it's cute. But in this game I feel like it would be incredibly unhealthy to have.

there were lots of designs made but few would reach the built-prototype stage

this is essentially a raketenautomat but wheeled so it moves faster but stores less ammo inside
as such it should be relfected like that in game
from the monterjagers 130 total reduced to 100 for the 405
you only got 10 mags total with 100 shots so you better make them count
move around as fast as you can to try and get to the rear of enemy vehicles so that way you can unload a barage of rockets and dip out
or use it to finish off a low health enemy

a tank that can change its form factor to being either "casemated" or turreted
basically a cool UDES 18/19 like tank with the 120mm gun

this is essentially a MT-LB with a atgm carrier similar to that of the M901 and was only made as a prototype

one of the designs for the UDES 19 that was actually supposed to be the vinal version of the 19 before the project was cancelled
the H stands for Hagglunds because they were the ones that designed this version of the UDES 19
and the last premium on the list is the O140/40 which I already showed earlier in the thread
