We need permission from Goverments and registered holders of flag copyrights to put them in game AFAIK, max knows more. But unfortunately there is legal restrictions and we can't just add anything we like.

What if the gov we are talking about are so incompetent that they wont even notice?

Also is older flag of that nation part of the copy right?

it's my understanding that a nation can still hold the rights even if they don't use it anymore, i may be wrong. But either way it'd require a request to Legal and investigation to see what we can do.

So i'm sure you can understand why this is unlikely to happen any time soon as a result of the steps required

It wouldn't be down to me, but i'm sure we would take into account what requests have been requested from players, were we to put out requests/investigations into what flags we can add 🙂
