The 30mm autocannons on the BMP-2, BMP-3,and Object 477A are still oddly weak. They already have lower penetration than the other Cold War autocannons but strangely they also have the lowest damage of the autocannons as well. How does a larger 30mm APDS shell do lower damage than a smaller 20mm APDS shell?

In a irl aspect the bushmaster or any auto cannon deletes any tank that their penning in like 10-20 shots
