Hello, we do not have shared modules. Every tank has its own upgrade path and will need to unlock modules for it to use.
I unlocked the module, but I can't use it... the gun that I circled in RED was researched on the previous tank... (one of us is lying)
Hello, as I mentioned, we do not have shared modules. It doesn't matter if you unlocked it on a previous tank, you must unlock it on this tank in order to use it.
You say that identical modules are not shared. But why would a player waste time and resources on re-leveling the same module if its functionality and characteristics do not change? This seems like an artificial stretching of progress without any real benefit to the gameplay. What value does such a system bring to the player?
Many games offer progression, where already upgraded elements are opened for higher levels, so as not to force the player to do the same actions over and over again. Why doesn't your game use this approach? Don't you think that this discourages players from long-term development?
If modules are the same across tech tiers but aren't considered common, doesn't that seem like an attempt to hide a lack of content or variety? Why not give the player a sense of real progress instead of simulating it?
